- [Instructor] So, we've talked at length, about the importance of creativity, and about understanding each individual person's creative process. But I want to spend a minute just to make sure you actually understand what is the creative process, that you understand the parts that should go into actually having an idea. Because, as an industry, we've had a problem, a lot of us think that this, this is an idea, that all the sudden, you're sitting around, you're sketching, you're thinking, you're drawing, and all the sudden there's this clap of thunder, and the skies open and the light bulb appears, and you have an idea, and it rains champaign and puppies. But the problem is that, that's actually not how you have an idea, that's how you have an inspiration. But creativity is actually a blue-collar profession, that ideas, especially great ideas, they're a lot of work. Because they're fragile, they're a fleeting things, they're something that needs to be grown, and defended and invested…
