- [Instructor] When you install Microsoft Office, a large collection of fonts is also installed on your computer. Learning where they're installed and removing the fonts that you don't need can help you clean up cluttered font menus and help all your apps run more efficiently. So let's take a look at the Microsoft Office fonts. Now the first thing to understand is that different versions of Office for Mac install their fonts in different places. Office X installed fonts into the system library fonts folder right here. So you had to be careful about identifying and removing Office fonts to avoid messing up your Apple system fonts. In most cases, Office 2004 installed fonts in the user library fonts folder, which you can get at by going to the go menu, holding down the option key, and clicking on library, and then fonts.
