- [Narrator] There are an overwhelming number of choices for packaging and knowing what to choose, can be hard if you don't know what types are out there for your client's specific industry and needs. Thankfully, most of your packaging requirements will likely fall into these standard categories: wood, glass, paper, cardboard, metal, plastic and biodegradable. Wood packaging has been around for a very long time and has been fashioned into many different types of packaging such as boxes, crates, tubes and limited editions. Wood continues to play an important part in the packaging ecosystem, but it's used sparingly today. Glass is one of the best packaging types for food, medications, fragrances and liquids, just to name a few. It's reusable, recyclable, easy to clean, sterile and non-reactive.
