Specialty colors and inks for screen prints

- [Instructor] Now we're entering experimental territory. If you decide to go with specialty inks or colors like metallics or glow in the darks, keep in mind that this falls in the category of special order. And some experimentation may be necessary. The printer might need to print several test runs. It's kind of like ordering a burger at the pizza shop, they might be able to make you something great but there's a chance it won't work out quite the way you envisioned it. Let's talk budget. It's important to note that you'll have additional costs like up charges, separate setup fees and sample test runs. It's best to have a meeting with the production folks at your printers before finalizing your designs so that they can walk you through the limitations and the dos and the donts. And you'll have a better result in the end.
