Screen printing

Screen printing

- [Instructor] Screen printing. It's great for large runs, about 12 shirts and above, and it's the most common method for production since the late 1960s. It's great for large runs because you could set up multiple shirts for a single design, and with a pull of a squeegee it's done. Some of the pros to going with screen printing are that it's great for large runs, and you can blend colors together as you pull squeegees across the screen, and you're not limited to just one or two colors. With multiple passes, using multiple screens, you can go full color and get almost a photorealistic result. Some cons to going with screen printing are the setup fees can get expensive once you go for four colors and above, and there's no personalization because the screens are set up for mass production.
