- [Instructor] With Windows 10 you can choose to show or hide any font and in doing so customize the fonts that appear in the fonts menus of some programs. It's an interesting and more flexible alternative to moving fonts in or out of the fonts control panel. Unfortunately it doesn't work for all programs. So let's see how the show and hide fonts feature works in Windows 10 and how it can help you a little to remove the fonts that you don't need. I'll start by showing the fonts control panel and once I have it open I can select a font that I'm not gonna be using any time soon. Jokerman here is a fun font but I can't see myself using it very much. So to hide it from my font menus I'll click once to select it and then click hide. Notice how it becomes grayed out. And the nice thing is that programs that can use this feature immediately update their font menus based on what I show or hide. So I can switch over to WordPad and look in the font menu and in the Js there's no Jokerman. But if…
