- Now that you've weighed your strengths, your achievements, your opportunities for growth and your motivators, the next step is deciding where are you today, and whether it's time for a career change, or if you're evaluating your current position. So we are going to discuss some of the signs that you may have outgrown your job. Sure signs may be that it's no longer challenging day to day. You've lost interest or that work becomes a chore. If you see limited growth opportunities, or if you're at a point where you have an excessive workload and you're at risk of burnout. Other signs may be based on your environment, or unhappiness with management. According to a survey by the Creative Group, advertising and marketing executives said that the number one reason that employees leave a company is due to limited opportunities for career growth.
