Unfortunately, the support for enhanced features like these is not as widespread as some people might like. This means however that quality assurance testing on ebooks with these features is imperative. Each retailer support for media and enhancements is different, it may change over time. However, it's pretty fair to say that in general tablet devices have better support than ereaders do. Knowing that can help you be more effective in your QA of your ebook files. When creating an enhanced ebook to sell, it's important to ensure that you have created the correct format. EPUB 3 is the industry standard ebook format and it allows the inclusion of embedded media and JavaScript interactivity.
