- High-performing teams don't work in silos. It takes a variety of players to get a project done, especially in today's workplace and especially in the design world. New technology and digital trends that require cross-departmental collaboration are on the rise more now than ever before. Marketing and creative teams are no doubt partnering much more closely not just periodically, but on a day-to-day basis with their IT teams and departments. In a recent survey conducted by The Creative Group, 55% of advertising and marketing executives said that they are collaborating more closely with tech leaders within their company, compared to just three years ago. So that may not be surprising, but it's on the rise, and it's going to continue, and I would expect that, at some point, marketing, creative and IT within many organizations is already viewed as a single team or entity from a day-to-day work standpoint.
