New modes of leadership
- What's the difference between leadership, management and vision? Let's unpack each of these three important roles. A manager provides tools and resources that allow the space for things to happen. A leader provides tactics, strategies and inspiration for their teams to thrive. The visionary is a heretic who sees what cannot be seen. Creative nomads are seeking a resourced ecosystem of all of the above, as creators, editors and evangelists to problem solve with. As a result, nonautocratic forms of leadership have been embraced including a values-based leadership. It's truly knowing yourself and what you stand for individually and globally. It's a telescopic view of decision making, where short and long-term ramifications for individuals, society and the planet are the primary criteria for evaluation and action.
