- We pretty much take it for granted that a healthy set of eyes gives us a, you know, field of view, around 180 degrees, a little bit less, and that our eyes also don't really have any trouble making out what's inside a typically lit indoor space like this. I mean our eyeballs are amazing. There are credible scientists who tells us that our eyes have been evolving into this current and amazing configuration for tens of thousands of years. Now cameras, they haven't been around for nearly that long. And, as I'm sure you've noticed, they often surprise us by having a lot of difficulty capturing clean and clear shots in spaces that our eyes have no trouble with, right. So what I'm getting at here is maybe this was why I was so taken by surprise the first time a client asked me to shoot some high quality shots of an interior space.
