- [Instructor] Kobo is much more open and active within the ebook production community, than any other ebook retailer. And their guidelines document is a good example of this fact. The document is hosted on GitHub, where anyone can submit questions or issues about the guidelines easily. The Kobo team often responds to this feedback quickly, and is usually very open about their current or planned support for specific EPUB features. In addition to that, or maybe even as a result of it, the Kobo reading systems have some of the best support for EPUB in the marketplace. While Kobo does recommend that all EPUB files pass EpubCheck they're one of the few retailers not to require that EPUB's pass that validation before being sold. That being said, I always recommend ensuring that your EPUB files pass EpubCheck.
