- Okay, they wrote you back, they called you. Excellent news. Now you have to keep up the confident, capable image you've already crafted, the reality of your awesomeness. If they ask when you're available, give them an answer with as little detail as possible. They don't need to know about when you need to walk your dog or your upcoming doctor appointments. Just answer the question. Make it as easy as possible given your schedule. For example, if you have a job and can only meet before or after work, say any day before 10 or after five. Or if possible to take a day off from work, you can tell them you will make yourself available whenever it works for them, which is my favorite answer. Lunchtime also works. One time we were interviewing someone for an internship and asked him about his availability. He said "Okay wait, let me think, "Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays, yes, "Friday, Saturday, and Sunday" and of course we hired him. The bottom line is be as professional and…
