- Followers of trends will tell you, the use of model line design has been one of the most prevalent influences over the better part of the last decade. Looking back at past Logo Lounge trend reports, you'll see that since 2011, this aesthetic has been rapidly evolving and adapting. Showing limited signs of retirement. We continue to report on the rising popularity of model line's newest incarnations. If there are broader evolutionary signs, I might note that I see line work starting to thicken up as we allow for greater scalability of these marks. Somewhere between the finer lines that whisper and can vanish on the page and what designers refer to as fatties, or lines that are more like bars or solid areas. And certainly, as we discussed earlier, the use of multiple concentric stripes or lines that have also started to put on a bit of weight themselves.
