Designing for digital print methods

- [Instructor] This movie about image transfers and direct to garment is short and sweet, because basically there are no design limitations for your artwork. Go bananas with these. You can pretty much print whatever you want. You can go full color and go crazy with gradients. Other print methods charge more for each additional color, but it's not so with digital printing. But hold up, you might run into some garment limitations, such as DTG works best on natural fibers like 100% cotton, and image transfers work well with polyester and cotton blends, which we cover in greater detail in chapter two. Digital prints are good for any small run, and they're a great choice for mass production, but only when using multiple colors. Think photorealistic images and/or full color illustrations. So have a play. This is your spot to let your creative juices flow. There are really no limitations when you print digital, so have at it.
