- Instructor: Let's take a closer look at the client. in this initial assessment I want to learn two things really. The structure of the organization and the level of the clients expertise. Let's talk about the structure of the organization first. Who's in what role, what are their responsibilities, how are the teams organized, are there divisions, operating units; the whole works. I want to know who does what and how it effects everyone else connected. The company ecosystem. I want to know this because problems are seldomly isolated to one unit or individual within a company. Furthermore, when we introduce a solution into the company's ecosystem we have to understand how it effects all parts that make up the whole. So usually, this type of information isn't shared publicly. You'll have to work at getting this from your client contact. And you also probably won't get it all at once.
