The Kindle publishing guidelines document includes a long list of requirements and recommendations that will be helpful to you as you create and test eBooks in the Kindle format. Here are a few important details to keep in mind. First, remember that Amazon has both Kindle eReader devices and tablets, as well as iOS, Android, and computer apps. As we discussed in a previous video, your content has the potential to look very different across all of those different locations. While Kindle Format 8 is very similar to EPUB in many ways, it is helpful to remember that KF8 is not EPUB. The two formats have many similarities, but sometimes it is best to let the Kindle format just be its own thing. Here are some other general recommendations to consider.
