- [Instructor] One of the hardest things about running a visual campaign is getting started. Because campaigns should always be custom, it might feel like there isn't a standard place to start, but that's actually not true. Like any creative project, you should begin by developing a creative brief, and when creating a visual campaign, a creative brief relies on three primary questions. The first question you should ask is: why? Why is there a need for your creative skills in the first place? Why is the company, service, or product unique and worthy of multiple pieces of visual content? Why now? Next, dive into the what. What are the goals of the client or brands seeking your services? What are their problems they are trying to solve? What makes them different from their competition? What makes them the same as their competition, and what makes their customers choose them over their competition? And, what is their budget, and what is their timeline? Finally, you need to answer the who.…
