- [Instructor] As this course is an introduction to Apollo with React, some experience with React is essential. If you aren't familiar with creating React components using props and importing modules I'd suggest that you take a basic React course such as our React Essential Training. Next, experience with JavaScript, especially ES6 syntax is a must as this is the basis of our React programmer. In this course I'll be using the ES 2015 version of the syntax. Next, being familiar with terminal commands and NPM will definitely help you when we use these tools. As you'll see, I'm running on a Mac but you can follow along on a PC as the tools work exactly the same on both platforms. And finally, I'm using VS Code as my code editor but feel free to use whatever tool you prefer although I recommend using an editor with a built-in terminal.
