- [Benjamin] Gradle became one of the de facto build tools standards for many popular programming languages and ecosystems. Its capabilities combine conventions and built-in features to keep automation logic to a minimum while at the same time providing flexibility to fulfill customer requirements. This makes Gradle a suitable choice for ambitious open-source and enterprise projects. The DevOps and continuous delivery methodologies promote a strong focus on automating the whole life cycle of a project, and that's where Gradle fits right in. I'll provide you with the basic understanding of Gradle core concepts and functionality. We'll explore build files and conventions, implement tasks, apply a reusable functionality with plugins, and discuss important runtime details for deep understanding of the tool. My name is Benjamin Muschko. I'm the author of the book "Gradle in Action," and I implemented numerous open-source Gradle plugins. I'm excited about project automation testing, continuous delivery, and Kubernetes. I look forward to teaching you the right foundation to learning Gradle from the ground up. So join me in my LinkedIn learning course to automate your project with Gradle.
