Transpose an array

- [Instructor] Have you ever wished that you had laid out your data in columns rather than rows or vice versa? No, it can't be just me. I've heard this complaint way too many times. In this movie, I will show you how to transpose an array, that is, exchange rows and columns, by using the transpose function. In the range of B3 through D8, I have a set of measurements that I have entered in a column format. So my columns are longer than my rows. What I'd like to do is to transpose my data so column one becomes row one, column two becomes row two, and column three becomes row three. I can do that using transpose. So I'll click in cell G3, type an equal sign, and the function, as you might have guessed, is TRANSPOSE, and all I need to do is select the data. That's B3 through D8. Right parentheses and enter.
