- [Instructor] Calculating the length of a project, or more specifically, the number of work days you have left to complete a project, is adventurous to everyone in business and academia. In this movie, I'll show you how to calculate the number of work days between two dates in Google Sheets. This workbook contains a single worksheet and on it, I have start dates and end dates for a series of projects. What I'd like to do is to calculate the number of work days using both the U.S. standard, which is federal holidays as well as excluding weekends, which are Saturday and Sunday, and then to do the same calculations using international standards, which allow for more flexibility. I'll start in cell C2 where I'll calculate the number of work days between my start dates in A2 and my end date in B2. So, in C2, I'll type an equal sign and then the function I'll use is NETWORKDAYS, and NETWORKDAYS is the net working days between two dates. First I need to put in the reference for my start…
