In this video, staff author Jess Stratton shows you how to add additional free Google fonts into a Google Doc for use. The fonts can be sorted, and even current fonts can be filtered out.
- [Instructor] Google Docs comes with a long list…of fonts that you can use for your document,…but sometimes that's just not enough.…You can add more fonts by clicking more fonts…at the very top of the list.…It's going to take you to the user interface…for Google fonts.…Now Google fonts actually works across all Google products.…For example, you'll find the ability to add these fonts…using Google Slides and Google Sheets also.…If there's a particular font that you know…you're looking for you can type it in this list…to see if it's going to come up.…
These are all fonts that are free for you to use…in your Doc.…The ones that are currently selected…are ones that you already have to use in your Doc…and you can see them listed here on the right hand side.…If any of them show up in the list…and you're tired of seeing them or you know…you're never gonna use them you can click the X…and it's going to remove it from that dropdown list.…You can scroll through and browse fonts,…but you can also filter the view.…You can choose from a particular script…
