Google Classroom allows the teacher to adjust the student permissions with regards to posting and commenting on the stie. On the students tab, you can determine whether you want students to be able to post announcements as well as reply to other students, only reply to other students, or to block students from being able to post or reply on the class stream.

First, I need to navigate to the Students tab.…Underneath the Students tab,…you can see where it says "Students can post and comment".…If I click on this drop-down,…I have a couple other options.…I could change it to "Students can only Comment"…or "Only teachers can post and comment".…Now, you'll have to adjust this…to whatever settings you would like for your course.…For my course,…I'm going to keep it at "Students can post and comment".…Although I will spend some time early on…
