Signing up for G Suite is a straightforward process for both new and existing domains. In this video, Julio Appling walks through the G-Suite sign-up process. This process indicating or choosing the domain on which G Suite will operate, establishing an inaugural super-administrator, and agreeing to the G Suite terms and service.
- [Instructor] To get started with G Suite,…you'll want to start at the G Suite sign-up page.…If you aren't sure whether or not you're ready…to commit for the long term,…you're granted a 30-day trial period,…during which you can test drive G Suite…and create as many as 10 user accounts.…You can only have one G Suite account per domain,…so if you already have a version of G Suite installed,…you'll need to choose or purchase a different domain.…At the sign-up page, enter your name…as well as a non-G Suite contact email address.…While the email you use can be a Gmail address,…do not use an email within the domain…that you plan to use for G Suite,…since Google needs to be able to contact you…in the event that you are unable to access your account.…
While not necessary, purchasing through Google…makes it easier to later verify your domain…and set up an email,…but Google makes it explicitly clear,…that it does not give preferential treatment…to domains purchased through partner services…with regard to search results or indexing.…
