- [Instructor] It's important that you follow best practices when adding tracking parameters to your marketing campaign URLs. Without it, you won't be able to split out that traffic from the rest. Let's see what I mean. If we click into acquisition, all traffic, and then source medium, you can see performance broken down by source and medium. So for example, here are our Google CPC campaigns. We drove 226 sessions which was 19% of the total. More importantly we can see the goals broken down by marketing channel as well. So we can see that only .42% of the people who we sent through Google CPC converted. So that was just one conversion. Within Google CPC, we can click and then see also the campaigns as well. If we click secondary dimension and then type in campaign, it will break down Google CPC by the different campaigns that drove traffic.
