Given the size of the GoPro screen, it's often necessary to use an external monitor to view menus. GoPro has a HDMI port you can connect to a monitor with a micro HDMI connector. In this online training video, you'll learn how to use the live signal from the HDMI port to review images on an external screen, and use the mode button on the camera to navigate menus on a bigger and easy-to-read monitor.
