Using GoPro Studio as a stand-alone application

- Let's take a moment to talk about GoPro Studio as a stand-alone application. This is a free piece of software that we downloaded earlier from GoPro's website. There is the GoPro Quik application which is a very streamlined tool, and we'll explore that later in this course. But I'd actually like to take you to use the more professional tool first. But don't worry, it's still pretty simple to use. Let's launch the application, and when you do it may prompt you to decide to use Quik. This is because GoPro has found that Quik is easier for people who are getting started. But we're going to bypass this for now. You could choose to not see this dialogue again, or just click no thanks. GoPro Studio is a pretty streamlined and logical application. You see that it has three major steps: view and trim your media, then edit it to put multiple pieces together, and then export. In the left-hand column, we'll click to add new files.
