Once you have your shots in the order that you like, it is possible to continue to refine your sequence by adjusting their in and out points. How do you refine your edits in GoPro Studio? In this video, author Richard Harrington walks you through how to trim and split your clips in the Storyboard in GoPro Studio.
- Once you've got the shots in basic order,…it's possible to continue to refine your sequence…by removing small bits or adjusting the in and out point.…Let me show you how.…We'll go to the beginning of the first clip here,…and I'll press play.…I like the beginning.…And as he rides out…I'd like to end a little sooner.…So with the clip selected…I could click the razor blade here to split the clip.…
And you see it makes a new thumbnail.…Now don't be confused…that these thumbnails look the same duration, they're not.…I can delete that away…and it adjusts.…Let's change position here and swap this forward.…That cuts well.…And if I press the out key it marks the new out.…
Same thing here.…I for in, and it adjusts the in point.…With the clip selected,…this makes it easy to adjust.…Let's remove a little bit of this shot here,…and I'll press I to set a new in point.…
If we want to keep more of the clip…I can split it and move this in between.…This way we cut away to another shot for a little bit,…and then go back to him.…Getting sort of a first person point of view.…
