When you create converted or optimized clips, you will be sending the new clips to a location on a hard drive. How do you select the drive you want these clips to go to? In this video, author Richard Harrington walks you through how to set target the drive where you want to store your converted or optimized clips in GoPro Studio.
- Earlier we touched upon where your media ended up.…I'd like to revisit those settings,…so you're absolutely positive where you're placing…your converted and optimized clips.…Inside of GoPro Studio,…make sure you're taking a look at STEP 1.…Now, at the bottom, there's the SAVE TO directory.…Click the CHANGE DIRECTORY button,…to specify where you want the files to go.…In this case, I'm gonna make a new folder called Wave2.…And Create.…You'll see the update here, for the SAVE TO path.…
This tells you where it's gonna write to.…Here is the file name.…This is currently a combination…of the clip name itself, and it's original source folder.…Remember, we chose to use the REEL NAME in the destination,…if you uncheck that, it won't use that option…as you start to load new clips.…But I find that the reel name is ideal,…because it will help you keep things organized.…Remember, this reel name can be generated by the camera,…and if we import off of memory card,…for example in this case, I'm targeting…a directly mounted card in the card reader,…
