- Once your media is imported, it's pretty easy to review it and get familiar with the footage. Part of video editing is acquainting yourself with what was captioned. Now, you might have been there for the event, but what you think you got and what actually ends up on camera could be very different sometimes. Let's take a look at some of this footage from a skate park. If you're interested in action sports, we do have another title available here in the online library that will help you learn more about shooting this type of footage. If I select a clip, it automatically loads here in the viewer. In this case, when I press play, I could review the clip. Like most clips, there's usually some parts that aren't usable in the beginning. We'll talk about trimming that in a moment. But, this allows me to see the footage and get familiar.
