Mounting a memory card

- The first thing you'll need to do is get the footage out of the camera into the computer or your hard drive, and there are several different ways of doing this. Let's start with one of the easiest but not necessarily the best. On the side of your camera, there is a port. You can use this port to actually connect a charging cable. Now, this door is removable. In this case, it's already been removed, and this makes it easy for me to keep this open. But remember, if this door has been removed, your camera is not waterproof for the GoPro HERO5, and of course the other GoPro models are not waterproof without a specialty case. This particular camera is using a USB-C connection type. Depending upon your camera, you might see Micro USB or Mini USB. It's just gonna vary, but use the appropriate cable that either came with your camera or a third-party cable.
