Importing footage into Premiere Elements

- If you're looking for an easy-to-use video editing tool that's cross-platform, Adobe Premiere Elements offers a simple solution that's very powerful. Let me show you how to import footage. When you launch Premiere Elements, you'll see a few different types of workflow. Quick will quickly assemble media. Guided will walk you through some different tutorials. And Expert gives you a little bit more control in the timeline. Let's click Add Media. I could choose to go right from a camera or pull in from a file or folder. For example, let's navigate to the drive where we copied media earlier and pull in the folder that's direct from a GoPro camera. You'll see that the media is added into the project. And if we click inside of there, there are the different clips. You can easily play and preview, and the footage plays pretty smoothly. Let's go back to Add Media, and also add directly from the optimized media. I'll choose Import, and you see that those are also added to the Project Assets…
