Not only can you edit your GoPro footage in GoPro Studio, you can also bring it into a non-linear editor (NLE). How do you import GoPro clips into an Apple Final Cut Pro X project? In this video, author Richard Harrington walks you through how to import your GoPro footage into an Apple Final Cut Pro X project.
- If you use Apple's Final Cut Pro,…it also can work with GoPro Media.…Let's launch it and I'll show ya how.…Once you launch Final Cut Pro,…the first thing you'll want to do,…is create a new library to hold the footage for the project.…Let's call this GoPro.…And I'll choose Save.…Now, I can click the Import Media button,…and navigate to my drive.…In this case, I'll go to my hard drive,…and start with the files direct from the camera.…
And if I select these,…I can choose to add these to an event.…Let's make a new event and call these Camera_Media.…We'll leave it in place so it stays…on the original hard drive,…but you do have the options to copy to your library…if you want to be able to remove a memory card.…I'll assign a tag from the folder name,…and I'm gonna allow it to Create optimized media.…If you're concerned about performance,…you can also make proxy media,…but we shouldn't need that right now.…And if you like, you tell it to,…analyze the video to fix color issues.…
And when ready, click Import All.…The media is now added to your project,…
