- Let's explore moving this onto your hard drive and then into a project. In this case, my attached memory card shows up. And inside the DCIM folder, you'll see a folder, usually numbered with the reel and GoPro. Your camera may progressively number things. If you step inside that folder, you'll find all your media. There may be some jpeg files, there may be movie files and audio files and all that material is there. You can copy that material and place it into your drive. Now, typically, you'll do this at the finder or Window's Explorer level. Just open up a window, select your media, and choose to copy it and migrate it over to your edit drive. For example, I can select all of these. That TIF folder just came from processing a time lapse. And I could then target and edit drive, . Choose some media and paste. Now, I'm not gonna do that in this case because we're gonna be working with a series of downloaded files. If you downloaded them, there was two different folders. The first was…
