The Capture app gives you the ability to take complete control of your GoPro HERO5 remotely. You can change settings like white balance and be able to hit record when your GoPro is in a hard-to-reach location or on an athlete. In this movie, author Richard Harrington walks you through how set up and use the Capture App with the GoPro HERO5 Session.
- Pairing the GoPro Capture app…to the GoPro Session is very similar as it is for the Hero.…What you're going to need to do, though, is invoke the menus…on the back of the the Session camera.…So don't just power it on with the top button,…instead, use the back button.…Press and hold that button on the back,…and after a few seconds, the screen should turn on.…Press the menu button,…(beeping)…and cycle through…(beeping)…until you get to connection settings.…
(beeping)…Now, you can cycle through options,…and I'll choose connect new device.…(beeping)…You now need to choose what you're going to connect.…You'll see you have options for the app.…You can also press the button here to cycle through,…the remote control, the remo,…but in this case, we'll go back to the app.…Press the menu button to select the checkbox and engage.…It now goes into pairing mode.…
You'll see the name of the network as well as the password.…On your phone, choose to connect your camera…and tap add new.…Choose the model camera, in this case…I'm using a HERO5 Session.…
