An upgrade from previous models, both the GoPro HERO5 Black and HERO5 Session can easily go underwater. However, there are accessories that can take your GoPro HERO5 deeper underwater. Author Richard Harrington demonstrates several accessories that keep your GoPro HERO5 series camera safe and dry while shooting underwater.
- You might decide that you want to…be able to put the GoPro in a place that's more comfortable.…Maybe you want to set it on a tripod,…maybe you're looking to hold it in your hand,…or clamp it in place.…Well, GoPro makes a couple of accessories…that are good for that.…One of them is the Jaws Clip here.…This actually gives you a clamp…that you can attach to a surface.…So it's very simple, nice and springy,…and you can just clamp that onto a pipe or a railing.…It then comes with a goose neck arm…that can be manipulated.…So even if you had to clamp it this way,…you can still twist the camera up into position…to get the shot.…
And all of these segments rotate,…so you can get the framing that you need,…depending upon the shooting scenario.…This works quite well.…For example I'll just clamp it…onto the edge of the desk here.…And you see that that's quite flexible and solid.…And this is going to work in a wide range of places.…From railings to a sail boat.…We've attached it to construction equipment,…we've put it on a door jam.…
