GoPro sells many accessories that are not in the box that your GoPro HERO5 Black or Session was packaged in. One of these accessories is the GoPro Frame, which can be used in indoor and controlled environments. Author Richard Harrington showcases several different models of the GoPro Frame to help you decide which one is best for your workflow.
- When you buy a new GoPro it comes with a case already.…But buying an additional frame is a good idea…because it's going to add some additional functionality…and give you a backup.…The frame is pretty durable.…What you see here is that the camera comes inside of it…and we've got two different sizes, one for the Session…and of course the traditional GoPro HERO 5.…When you look at the frames, pretty straightforward,…there's a notch cut out here for cables to pass through.…We have a notch on the top for the button.…
And pretty straightforward.…One of the nice advantages though here…is that the frame can be converted.…You'll notice by default the frame has…a reachable through area.…This is so you can actually access the touchscreen menus.…But you might want to protect that a bit more.…Fortunately, this can come apart.…And it's going to feel a little bit difficult as you first move…so you're going to feel like you're breaking it…but you actually aren't.…You'll notice right along the bottom there,…the hinge is actually opened.…
