Lowercase rounds: k, s, and g
- [Instructor] So we're now going to address the k, the s, and the g, in that order. We'll adjust the width of the k strokes and remove the serifs at the bottom of the stem. So let's open that up. We're going to adjust the width of the stem and get rid of this bottom serif. I'll, as usual, set up a guide and then move this down. Now we want to remove this oblique arm, so let's select all, send to back, and I want to replace that oblique arm with a variation on the eye of the e. So let's delete and I'll go over here to the e and grab the eye and I'll paste it here. And I'm going to align it and then reduce it by 10%. So let's set the origin to the upper left and then we'll hit reduce. Actually let's lock it first. Set it to 10 and then reduce. All right, so now I'm going to nudge it to the right to align it to the edge of the stem here. So let's move it just a little bit more. Let's take this handle and make it parallel to the stem. Let's nudge this one over. We could set the distance…
