- [Instructor] The next group of lowercase characters uses pinched curves, so let's start by making a copy of a pinched curve, and scaling it by 95%. So again, Command + F and PinchedCurve, and then we'll select it, duplicate it, set the origin of our transformation to the upper left, and reduce by 5%. And again, we want to double check that the scale made the horizontal here 95 units. And set the sidebearings to zero, and then let's use it in a letter. So let's start with the lowercase n. We're going to copy the stem from the lowercase i, paste it twice, and then we'll insert the pinched curve, so Shift + Command + C, and you know what I didn't do? Let's cancel this. I didn't rename this lowercase pinched curve. So lcPinchedCurve. Now let's go back and add it. There it is, lowercase pinched curve. And just as we did in the lowercase o, we're going to align it with the x height and then give it a 10 unit overshoot. Double check to make sure that it's perfectly aligned here, and then…
