- [Instructor] So we're going to move on to the x, v, and w. Technically this section should be called formally lowercase angles since each of the angled Roman forms that we're going to look at gets transformed into a rounded form in the italic. We're going to start with the lowercase x, which I have a special affinity for since I write it every day. And we're going to grab the exit serif, the exit stroke from the k, and use it as the basis for the main stem of the x. So let's select all here, send it to the back. And paste our oblique stroke from the k. Now, it lines up pretty well, but it's going to make an overly wide form. Nonetheless, let's soldier on. So I'll copy and paste it again. I'll flip it. Get the alignment right at the top, so overshoot by 20. Line them up. And I can connect them in one of seven ways. Let's do this. I'll add a point to this horizontal stroke, and then Option delete it. Same thing down here. So I'm using the pen tool to add a point and then delete it…
