The B and S: Two new components
- [Instructor] So we're now going to add two new components, a double curve and a spine, and we'll use them to create the cap B and the cap S, and we'll also use them for the number 3. To create the double curve, we'll make a new glyph and rename it DoubleCurve. So just add a glyph, double-click, and let's rename it DoubleCurve, and well we have a blank slate here. Let's control + click to bring up the contextual menu and set it not to export. So we're going to add two simple curves here and then overlap them a little bit. So shift + command + c to bring up the Component menu, and then we'll type the first few letters of simple curve, select the SimpleCurve and place it. Now we'll copy that and paste it and the second copy will flip. So let's overlap them perfectly, and I'm using command + spacebar for this magnifying glass. All right. They're overlapped perfectly. Let's go in really close so we can see. Yes. All right. And since we're going to use this in the B, let's flip it. Next…
