George Papazian is the program instructional lead of the Interaction Design Essentials program at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, pioneering technical curriculum of the program and authoring many of its courses. On the development side, George is the creative lead at opto.media, a web consulting firm focusing on educational interface design. In addition, he is the program instructional lead for the online Web Advanced program at Make A Change Canada, a nonprofit organization empowering disadvantaged Canadians through technological skills education. In a similar capacity, George frequently conducts web technology training sessions and workshops in the Caucasus region at organizations such as the CNN-featured Tumo Center for Creative Technologies in Armenia.
