Join Garrick Chow for an in-depth discussion in this video Saving your project to iCloud to access from other Macs, part of GarageBand Essential Training.
…In recent years, Apple has continued to integrate its free…iCloud service into the various apps that it publishes, and…now, with this latest release, GarageBand has gained the ability…to save and open projects stored on your iCloud account.…This gives you the ability to work…on a GarageBand project across multiple devices.…So you could, for instance, start work on…your MacBook Air, maybe you're recording someone on…location, and then you could save your project to iCloud and then open it up on…your iMac when you get home to pick up where you left off.…And it's pretty easy to set this up.…In order to use this feature, first go to System Preferences, and…then click iCloud.…
Here, make sure Documents and Data is checked.…And if you click Options, you'll see which of…your apps are set up to store data on iCloud.…So right now I just see GarageBand, but you might…see your iWork applications like Pages or Keynote and so on.…And you're free to check or uncheck any that you like in here.…But just make sure GarageBand is checked.…
