This video shows how to enabled simultaneous multi-track recording in GarageBand, and how to record a segment of your podcast.
- [Voiceover] Alright, so in the previous video…we optimized our GarageBand Project for podcast recording.…And, in this case I've set up two tracks…because I want to record an interview with a guest.…Now, if you're only recording onto a single track…you can simply make sure that track is selected…and then when you click the Record button…you're going to immediately start recording…onto that selected track.…Stop that and undo it.…I'll go back to the beginning.…But, if you want to record onto multiple tracks…simultaneously in GarageBand, you need to change a setting…because you can't click to select…multiple tracks by default.…
You can see here, I can only select one at a time.…So, instead I'm going to come up to the Track menu,…come down to Track Header,…and here I'm going to select Show Record Enable Button.…And you can see that places this button…with a red dot on each track.…Notice as I click the tracks to select them…that button gets sort of a red tinge to it.…Now, it's telling me, if I were to hit Record again,…
