- [Voiceover] As I mentioned in the previous video, I'm gonna set up podcasts with two different hosting services so you can see how the actual process works. I'm gonna start out here with Libsyn.com. Just to quickly recap though, when publishing your podcast, you need to place your MP3 file online. That can be through a dedicated hosting service like Libsyn or any other hosting service you choose. Once the MP3 has been uploaded, you then need to generate an RSS feed. The RSS feed address is what you submit to podcast directories like iTunes, Google Play Music, Stitcher and other similar services that catalog podcasts for listeners to find. So to be clear, you don't submit the location of the MP3 file itself to these places. That information is contained in the RSS feed, which is why the RSS feed is so important.
