- [Voiceover] Hello, I'm Garrick Chow and welcome to GarageBand for Mac New Features. I'll start by taking you on a tour of the revamped GarageBand interface and point out where the most important and frequently used settings, styles, and buttons have moved to. I'll also discuss which features found in previous versions of GarageBand have been removed. We'll look at the amazing new drummer feature, which puts a virtual drummer at your command and gives you the ability to craft complex and realistic sounding drum and percussion parts to accompany your songs.
I'll walk you through the smart controls and show you how to tweak the settings of your individual tracks to customize the sound of all your instruments. We'll look at the new amp designer and see how to craft a wide range of guitar and bass guitar tones with a combination of virtual amps, cabinets, microphones, and pedals. (distorted guitar music) I'll introduce you to the free Logic Remote app to control and record with GarageBand entirely from your iPad. And lastly, we'll look at GarageBand's new ability to save and open projects to and from you iCloud account.
As well as how to open projects created in the iOS version of GarageBand, allowing you to take work you've started on your iPad and finish it on your Mac. So, let's get started with GarageBand for Mac New Features.
