Most of my time, however, as soon I found out…that games were created,…they were on a computer and they…therefore were created with code,…I became obsessed with learning how to program…because I knew if I could learn how to program…I could learn how to make my own games…and if I could make my own games…I didn't have to put money…into an arcade machine constantly.…So I made lots of bad games on the,…my mother got me a VIC-20,…so I made lots of bad games there,…but the first game that I played a ton…was the original Wizardry game,…which came out in 1981.…
Very similar to Dungeons & Dragons…and Wizardry ended up inspiring…what we would today call Japanese RPGs or JRPGs.…
