- [Instructor] Let's finish our review of GIMP's transformation tools with a quick look at the Unified Transform Tool. This tool combines the functions of scaling, rotating, skewing, moving and perspective all in one handy tool. I'll take the tool or you can press the keyboard shortcut Shift + T. And its tool icon actually looks like the letter T for transform, so that's helpful. And like other transform tools I can target a layer, a selection or a path. I'll leave it set to layer and click in my document. And a set of transformation handles appear around the layer boundary. And a pivot point appears in the center. And I get a dialogue where I can cancel, reset or apply the transformation. And if this dialogue's getting in your way you can detach it from the canvas by pressing this button and move it around. Now the handles have different shapes because they perform different transformations. And the key to getting the results you want is to position your cursor in the right place. It…
