- [Narrator] To straighten a crooked image in GIMP, take the measure tool, drag on the image where it should be perfectly horizontal or vertical. Drag to readjust the endpoints if necessary. In the measure tool options, choose clipping, crop to result, then click straighten. To remove empty pixels, choose image, crop to content.
